Default 801 on a 6 Volt Mod, is great for me

801 on a 6 Volt Mod, is great for me, plenty of everything, and this antty is lasting, not like the other four antty's I burnt out using 6 Volts

I have never had 6v, but I do love my 801 at 5v. I get plenty of vapor at 3.7 on stock batteries, but for some reason the flavors are really better at the higher voltage.

I have an extra 801 atty, have no idea where it came from but I guess I should get an adapter and give it a shot. I am still partial to the 901 tho hehe. But, I will keep an open mind on this one

    I never had a 901 atty.
I used a vx2 atty i think it was, something that was supposed to be comparable, but it wasn't wonderful. Not like my 801 is.

5v on the 801 is great vapor flavor and th. Can't beat it no need for a hv atty just use the stock 801s. I got all of mine from awesomevapor. They did some modifications to them for the better. I just got one and seems like more air flow

Ok I am gonna act like a total noob here cuz I am one lol. What all is involved with switching over to a 5v battery? And how long do the 801 attys last on a stock battery? I used one for about 3 weeks, and even though there is some vapor still being made, I hardly get any throat hit. I saw that there are plenty of ways to clean an atomizer, and I tried the alcohol cleaning. It didn't get any better though. Any suggestions? Thanks!

801's are great..just so big and clunky, seems like someone would revise the 801 and make it less tall, really cant see why they made the tube so tall anyway, they could keep the width, and just lower the bridge a little and shorten the tube, but I guess maybe that would make the vapor hotter well i guess they could just make the tube smaller, decrease the size of the coil, and might as well throw on a 510 connection and......LOL

OK Im following you around... LOL

What PV are you using Mrlolli?

5v is not just like switching a battery....
You need a regulated 5v or VV (Variable voltage) "mod".
Most Mods, can do the regular 3.7v and 6v.

    How long do attys last?
No one will be able to answer that question, it could be a few weeks, a month, or 5 minutes...

But, ya the over time it is normal to see drop in performance.
As far as cleaning, just run the atty under hot water. Dont get too creative with chemicals though.
But there is not much you can do about reviving it . Using an atty that seem to decrease in performance on a higher voltage might help (temporarily).

Still, best advice is using a new atty. Also look into other attys- 510, 306, 801 LR.

The be112 seems to get lots of love at higher voltage. One of these days I'll get around to trying one. Never had any luck with 801's, always end up with a "metallic" taste to them
