I am going to place an order for a SB. I am a little unsure about the starter kit specifics. I want it to come with the 5pak of KR808D cartomizers. But will I need any kind of adapter with that? Also is the drip tip something that would go with this or is even necessary. Of course I will order the charger. But am I missing anything else I might need besides batteries. I believe the site says the batteries are out of stock so I will have to get them elsewhere. I just want to make sure when I get my order I will be able to use it within hours and not have to place another order and wait on some part I overlooked. I'm a noob, except for experience with BLU. Thanks in advance for any help.

If you plan to use KR808D cartomizers with the Silver Bullet you're going to have to purchase a 510 to 901/KR808D adaptor. If you plan on just using cartomizers with the SB a drip tip is not essential, but I like to use one when using cartos, take off the end cap and inner rubber washer and attach the drip tip and just drip directly inside of the carto when it starts getting low. You could also just get 510 cartomizers and forego the need for an adaptor completely.

will you be using the SB at 3.7v with the 18650s than. Or do you think that you will be using 6v?? I'm pretty sure the started kits only come with the 3.7v versions. it works great, but i would look into the low res 510 attomizers or even the 510 cartomizers to use with it as well. You can find a lot of information about them on the forum if you havent done so already, as well as youtube of course. As for the drip tip. I would definitly get them if you are planning on using regular attys like a 510 or 901 (with the 510 to 901/kr808d-1). I've also heard of people using the drip tips with cartomizers. I'm not sure if they will work the kr808d-1s but i imagine they would

Drip tips work GREAT with cartos. It is now my preffered way to drip. Keeps the coil nice and wet and keeps it alive longer. I personally have used most of the different types of KR808 cartomizers as well as the 510 carto, and I have to say that the 510 carto is the winner, at least on my SB. I also have a KR808 kit that I bought from rob that I always carry with me, and I preffer the cartos from another vendor (no offense Rob, I still always direct anyone asking about e-ciggs to your site. You should carry "trubo" cartos or something like them).

As for your kit,
1. I suggest the 510 cartos, or if you are sold on the KR cartos, 2 510 to 901/kr808 adapters (I know this is redundant, but there is nothing worse than "almost" having everything you need when you want/need that vape and you missplace your 1 adapert, also another reason for the 510 cartos, no adapert).
2. If rob is out of stock and you are ordering right away, go to battery junction or light hound and buy at least 2 of the black and red trustfire 2400 mah 18650 batteries. While they you are there, look into the Tenergy LiFe P04 RCR123a 3v batteries if you want to vape at 6v.
3. The battery charge that Rob sells is a reliable charger, it is the one i use every day.
4. Don't forget juice!
5. The pass through for the SB is amazing! If it is in your budget, I highly recommend it! It comes with a usb cable, but you will want to power it off of a usb hub or the like that provides 5v @ 2amps. If/when you pick this up, I would also suggest the Radio Shack power adapters he mentions. They work like a champ and give you multiple vaping options.

You guys are awesome and thank you. I just didn't know the 510 came as a cartomizer so that's how little I know. I'm not sure what the pass through is all about. If you don't mind could you explain that to me?

The SB is a tank, a very well made Mod good choice.
Like everyone above stated get good batteries black and red trustfire 2400 mah 18650 batteries for 3.7v vaping
The Tenergy LiFe P04 RCR123a 3v batteries if you want to vape at 6v you will need a different charger for these.
I personally like the 3.7v with a Low Resistance atty/Carto it simulates 5v vaping
Also the Pass thru is a nice option it eliminate the batteries the bottom section of the SB is replaced and allow for a cable to plug in and allows for 5v and up vaping suggest getting an enercell multi volt power supply with the "N" plug. and a 5v 2amp usb/ car adapter
this way you can vape at home without batteries and in the car/truck with out batteries.
If you like carto's go with the 510 carto no need for an adapter(less likely for a short)

The passthru is basically a direct power supply that can be used in place of the standard battery so you do not have to worry about the charge level and running out of power. In the cae of the silver bullet pass through, you unscrew the sb and take the part with the button and atomizer connecter and srew it onto the passthru, now there is a cord from the pass through to a usb port. You can now vape on the silver bullet as long as you want and only have to worry about juice. Passthru's are a way of sacrificing portability for ease of use. In other words you can sit and vape while on your computer or wathcing tv or a movie and not worry about the battery level. The other bonus it that it is 5v which is considered the "sweet spot" of vaping. The SB passthru is out of stock right now, so don't even trip about it. Enjoy your SB at 3.7v with the 18650 for a while till you need more power. You can always pick up a low resistance atty to simulate the 5v experience.
