    Default 3 AAA battery Mod

I have seen a few flashlight battery mods however; has anyone ever used the (3) AAA existing battery setup? This would be a 4.5 Volt mod and I was wondering how it vapes before I spend time putting one together. I have made multiple pass-through mods and some 6 volt that work amazing and think this would make a decent pv.

    Any thoughts?

I have made a mod using this setup. Can't say that it can touch the 6v. I actually finished making mine last night only to be disappointed with the results. The batteries I used in it were the same that I use in my 4 AAA battery box mod that vapes extremely well at 6v.

Thanks for the reply, I did a quick connectivity test and tried it out.... You are right, disapointing... I need to go forward with 6V, no lower than 5v.... Did you go a full 6V or did you implement a resistor and drop the voltage?

I am running the full 6 volts to the atty. The LED I have inline with it is also pulling some power so I wouldn't believe the full 6 volts is actually hitting it. I have been using the same 901 atty on it for almost 3 weeks now without a hitch.

    OK,

Have my 6volt mod complete (no housing yet). 4 AA batteries produces 6.43 volts and with a 5 volt LED sits at 6.3 Volts... Wow, lots and lots of vapor using the MadVapes liquid and a 801 atty.

I also made a 9Volt mod with a 200ohm resister dropping the voltage down to 6.2 volts from 9v. This vapes great as well. much better than my passthrough.

Yes it does produce awesome vapor. Try using a 4 AAA housing to reduce the size of the outfit. What batteries are you using?
