6.3 Volt and 9-VOLT MOD

OK,

Have my 6volt mod complete (no housing yet). 4 AA batteries produces 6.43 volts and with a 5 volt LED sits at 6.3 Volts... Wow, lots and lots of vapor using the MadVapes liquid and an 801 atty. massive throat hit and pure satisfaction.

I also made a 9Volt mod with a 200ohm resister dropping the voltage down to 6.2 volts from 9v. This vapes great as well. much better than my passthrough devices.

Both designs are very cheap with the LED being the most expensive as I did not want to use a resistor with the LED.

I will keep you all informed as to the batttery life on both systems.

Any pics of the 4aa mod? Seems like you're using too many batteries to get your voltage there. 2 10440s would give you over 6.43 volts and save space.....
I guess I just need pictures, lol.

or if your intention is to be able to just used standard AA batteries because they are easy to find, well that would make sense. too.
