I have wanted to make a clear top for my 5 Volt Mod for a while now. I finnally did it! The molding isn't perfect- but none of my Detonator are perfect. It is still a consistant 5 volts every time the button is pushed, using an inline regulator. I thinks it looks cool, but the next one will be better. I need to make a mold so I can get the shape of the cone perfect. Then I need to put some thing else in the epoxy - maybe the number 5 in wire, or my initials in Gold letters? It has a yellow and blue color to it in the daylight because those were the colors of heat shrink I used- I might try different color heatshrink to see what that looks like. At night it reall glows green and when the button is pushed the red LED give it a red, green, wierd orangish glow. I like it, but as allways I can't wait to make a new one- to see If I can make it even better.
