    Default Best Cart Mod EVER

Got this one from "scottyballs" over at ECF. It is the best cart mod I've ever used(& believe me , I've tried 'em all). From ScottyBalls:::::

Ok I was tired of topping off even with the PTB mod I hate having to waste juice do to fillers well no more I think I might have found somthing that works much better then most of the mods ive tried this is for the Joye 510.. Dont worry it dont really drip but it seems like you just droped 2 drops on the atty every hit till its gone!

    What you need

1 spring from a pen you know them clicky ones

    Small peice of polly fill

    cartridge

First Cut down spring so it fits in the top of the cart sidways

Fill cart with juice till it hits the spring
    .
ball up a small peice of polly fill stuff, you can make about 3 out of the stuffing that comes in the carts.. stick in the top of the cart and top off with 1-2 drops insert in the atty and Enjoy!

It works SO well, you really won't believe it. No flooding into the atty at all and every single drop of eliquid is used. Also, you get about 50-60 Full vapor hits from a full 510 cart out of this mod from 1st vape to last. Really, really, works and works well. It's so easy to do also.

Thanks again to Scottyballs for this one.

This looks really interesting. I have tried a different spring mod that worked pretty well at first, but then...it sucked. I might have to try this one!

Yeah, this one's never let me down. And I've tried plenty that have.

Everyone, just make sure you use enough filler at the top(which really isn't much) to cover the entire top, so that a complete seal is made and no holes are present for liquid to possible break the vacuum and leak thru. If you do this you'll be straight as an arrow.

    Default Question

That looks like a problem to me because:
I have problems occasionally with the entire stuffing pulling out of the cart, stuck to the atty. I'm guessing that's why some come with the dab of caulk in the carts. So having just a little piece in there seems like it stick to the bridge worse unless the spring was threaded through the poly.

    'splain it to me,Lucy.

    Cheers,
    NB

You know what Lucy, I thought the same thing myself when I saw this mod. However, it has not once ever happened to me(the filler sticking to the bridge). It's either because the bridge gently pushes the filler into the coils of the spring, thus trapping it in the spring well enough to not stick to the bridge. But I personally think it's because the filler stays extremely wet the entire time, therefore, it doesn't dry out and "glue " itself to the bridge(i.e. the constantly wet filler acts as lubricant keeping it from sticking to the bridge). Whatever the reason, the filler has NEVER stuck to the bridge for me with this mod. Now I've only ever used it with a 510 cart/atty, so I can't personally guarantee it works with all carts.(although I've heard from many others that it works just as well with 901's, 801's etc...)The only thing I can guarantee is that it's the only cart mod that has ever worked perfectly and consistently in my experience.

Ok I'm trying it. Been using for a couple hours. I have had a piece of the filler get stuck to the atty. It tasted horrible so I immediately new to check it. Other than that, I have had to adjust the filler a couple times because it dried out with juice left in the cart, but no big deal because as soon as I moved it a little it filled back up with liquid. I will continue using it to see how it pans out.

Oooh , sorry to hear that(about the filler sticking). When you're initially setting the filler, try to roll/wad it up nice and tight between your thumb and forefinger so it's one solid, coherent mass(again make sure it's big enough to cover the entire opening so no fluid can break the vacuum seal. Then when you're placing the wadded filler on the spring, don't be afraid to push it in their nice and tightly(the spring actually sits nicely on a little "shelf" inside the 510 cart so it won't or shouldn't push down). But like I said before, usually the pressure from the bridge keeps it nice and snug in the spring. About the filler drying out with juice left in the cart, can't help ya there, I've never experienced that myself.
