joye 510 what did I do wrong

I thought I would clean my 510 atty
soaked it in hot water with a little baking soda I think I read it some were that you could clean it that way.
any how it now won't smoke much and it taste yucky like card board,I did allow it to dry over night before i used it.
I have tried to put a little juice in it but no luck still taste bad and not much smoke.
What did I do wrong?Any advice would be helpfull.

Try to do a dry burn on it for about 5 seconds. The baking soda may have gunked it up pretty good. I always clean mine with a good old hot tap water shower. just hold it under the tap with good tap water pressure on hot for about 30 seconds. Shake it out and blow it out real good, then do a 5-7 second dry burn and its good to go.

Agreed, I would no tuse baking soda, if I did I would hold it under running water as the dissolved baking soda will dry on the wire as a solid again. Maybe try soaking it in some hot water for awhile the rinsing it under running water for a few minutes. Blow out then allow to dry for a little bit. Keep us posted on how this works out for ya.
