Expecting More

I recently purchased a 901 from dietSMOKES.com along with some vaportalk juices. I was expecting more flavor out of the juices than I'm getting. Is it supposed to be stronger or just a subtle flavor? Thanks!

Howdy and welcome to Nu-Vapor! I would say it all depends on the streignth that you have in the flavor. sometimes they are not strong enough to make it through the heating process IMO. But other people may say different. Then again I have never tried DietSmokes so I wouldn't be able to give you a correct answer.

You might try some of the Liquid Xpress juice that Parker carries. They all seem to have a real strong throat hit even in the lower nicotine.

If you were a moderate to heavy smoker, remember it takes a while for your taste buds to come back. I remember when I used to try and quit smoking the first sign that I was getting all that crap out of my system would be when I would think "oh so THAT'S what food tastes like"....I forgot!

The 901 is a great ecig so no worries there, I would echo some of the good advice you've gotten and keep trying lots of flavors...buy assortment packs or a few small bottles rather than one big 20,30 or 50 mil.

Also look for flavors that tend to be on the more intense side, Menthol, Mint, Turkish Tobbaco, licorice etc etc...flavors that have a softer profile ie: coffee, green tea, most fruits are probably going to be too delicate for your palate to detect right now. But it all works out..

I smoked 3 packs a day for 30 years and have been vaping for less than six months and I'm just starting to really get my ability to taste back, you'll get there.

Exactly right. I think menthol at least gives you a sensation you won't find with flavors you cant either taste, or that fade too fast.

As for the SB I love mine, in fact I charged up some RCR123 batteries this afternoon and I'm vaping at 6 volts with a soaked 801 atty and loving it!

The mentholated throat hit is crazy good. Not to mention the dense plumes of vapor, really outstanding.

I saw a review on Altsmoke, maybe it was you, praising the 801 atty with the SB, so i went ahead and ordered the adapter, attys and carts for the 801. lol.. and as far a 6v, I can even do 3.7 anymore.. its not even close to the TH / Vapor with 6V. My lips will never use 3.7 again...lol

Nnothing beats the SB with a 901 atty running at 6 volts, you burn through Juice like crazy but so what...the vape is sensational.

My only complaint is when I forget to take the atty and cart off and leave it standing up for hours. The juice drips down onto the unit, but that's my lone brain cell at work and no fault of the SB.

It's also a gorgeous design...total eye candy.

If you really do like the menthol flavor the Wrigley's at Truesmoker taste a bit like their Wintergreen gum with a splash of Juicy Fruit. Try a few different vendors and flavors you will find a favorite.
