Talking mako....possibly the best ecig device so far

    ok.
just received my mako from jason and im actually very impressed.
after having the 905 (which broke after 1 month ) and recently purchased the spark plug, this by far is the most amazing device i have used.
ive been looking for a high volt ecig to satisfy that special spot for a while now, and nothing against the spark plug, as that is a nice unit as well, it does pale in comparison to the mako.
the mako's construction is solid, neat and precise. im loving the button control and locking option for unwanted activation. this would in my opinion have to be the staple for any "hard core" vaper.
ive been vaping for about a year or so now, with of course a short interval where i went back to analogs simply because of annoyance with the lack of consistency with the products.... i started vaping again in december, witht he kr 808 which is perfect and fuss free for out and about at work vaping solutions.....
well, to cut off a long rant here, this mako im sure will fix any future crisis of me not being satisfied with vaping. i vape 26mg regularly, right now i am using the mako with a 3.6v battery and it is blowing me away... threw a few drops of only 11mg nic and it feels like im vaping 26mg.
ive got two cr2's charging right now and am patiently waiting to fire up at 6v.... and from what jason said that 6v blew his mind... im feeling like a kid at a toy store right now...
over all i love this device and for a person very hard to impress, i am impressed.

i dont really write reviews, but with this i had to say something.....

    Thanks for sharing!!

"annoyance with the lack of consistency with the products" Ugh... I know what you mean, I had to go thru the same problem a year ago. There wasn't nearly as many quality devices back than (back than lol, e-cig world changes so fast!).

Dont forget to do a few week follow up!

How heavy is it in relation to the Sparkplug? (Since you have both.)

I have the SP2 right now, and like it, but I tend to hold my e-cig in my teeth, and the SP2 is getting pretty heavy for that. One of the things that kept me away from the Mako is that it looks heavy.

And I'm with you... When my initial 510 kit got weak, I ended up back on the analogs.

(back than lol, e-cig world changes so fast!). i know right?
well so far still great.... at 3.6v.....
the cr2's charged up and i fired them up last night. and...... man.
there is a slight learning curve to the mako not your kids e-cig.
didnt knowhow long to hold the button down with 6 v and i blew put two atty's :/
but once i got it.... man i tell you its great. nice warm vapor.... nice throat hit ( on only 11 mg nic ) and just all around nice.
i dont think i could vape 6v all the time... it really is alot. havent had that dizzy and nearly nauseous from ecig feeling in a while... so that was nice, and certainly gets that sweet spot. when you need just really need a fucking smoke....ya know? but i would rather not accidently burnt out attys all the time.... and id like to save that feeling youget from the 6v for special moments... (spoken with a nice soundtrack ala infomercial music ).
jason was willing to guide me through it over the phone... but my condo here in vegas is literally situated between cell phone towers... so alas i get no signal.

i figured it out, but great c.s. on his part to help walk me through it.

3.6 volt is great with low nic and really nice with high.
handy cause i had two 14450's laying around from my 905. so that device actually came into a good use after all.

ill post another follow up in a week. i think that should be a good time frame to test this thing out... see if it still the holy grail.
because seriously... i bet jesus smokes these makos. :P

lostindajungle:: i hold my ecig in my teeth as well... ive got a bad habbit of that.. and it really hirts my fucking jaw, but any way, no i can not do that with the spark plug..... especially not the mako. it is heavy.
its nice in the fact that it is helping me kick that habit of holding in my mouth... and clenching on it...
the 901s i se those for holding in the mouth....
    thew whistle tip works better.
i know as soon as my ecigs hit that 2 month mark the get weak and i mossy to 711 considering buying a pack...
but i just buy more parts.
ive enough supplies to keep me fresh for a while, but last year i didnt have the money to continually buy shit... so... yea.
it is an expensive habit. :/
but so far im thinkng the mako very well might be what ive been looking for as my at home smoke.
still the kr-808 as my at work/play time.....
the 901's 510's while painting (to hold in the mouth) .

    ok
    off to work.

Thanks for the info... I think I'll stick with the SP2 for the time being.

FYI, if you're a teether like I am, you might want to check your local tobacconist (remember him?) and see if they carry rubber pipe bites. For the non pipe smokers, these are little rubber sleeves you can fit over your pipe stem. They add a little extra bulk to the stem, give you a comfy place to chomp, and protect your cart/stem from getting teeth marks. I've used them for years on my pipes, and they work great. They work well for the e-cigs, but the "stem" on the 901/801 is a little small.

And I'm guessing that's why I don't mind holding my e-cig in my teeth... I'm used to rather heavy pipes being suspended from my jaw.

Now, if only e-cigs/e-pipes looked like this: http://www.smokingpipes.com/pipes/new/gotoh/moreinfo.cfm?product_id=37779. Sigh.

For he same reason t-tips didn't make me all fuzzy.
Rubber 801 whistle tips might help for now if you got any laying around.
