Default MODS - Love the vapor !!!!

Very busy with work/school lately... This does not leave very much forum time. So, after diluting my liquid, I've been vaping like a champ and loving it. I'm in Springfield, Illinois btw. I bought the juice to electronicstix.com I'm happy with it now. I threw in some glycerin and its phenomenal. I simply bought too high mg or should have bought 100% VG, as all the liquids are PG (now mixed). I'm looking at the MAKO, and the Silver Bullet for my first mod. I've been watching videos and reading up so that I make the right choice. I want a 5v vape I think. I've never vaped 6V so I don't know what its like. I use a 5v passthrough in front of my computer and in my car now that I bought a 5v usb adapter. I only use the 3.7V batteries when I'm out of my car while not at home. There is a pretty big difference in 1.3V's heh unbelievable. So here I am not knowing if I will actually like 6V the best. Some say that 6V ruins the taste. If thats the case, I've been there and experienced that... I want my liquid to taste good.

    Any opinions would be great.

    Uzi,
Both the Mako and the Silver Bullet would be a good choice.
The Silver Bullet is a work horse!! I used mine a 6v for 3 months then found the LR atties and haven't looked back @ 6v since
I never leave the house without my SB its my goto PV everyday also my Phidias Woodimus goes with me most of the time
Between the 2 I got three days of vaping ready to go!
    3.7v with LR 510 on 18650 battery 2600mah runs 1 1/2days.
I would look into a big batery Mod that handles an 18650 battery more choices then.
The Mako @ 5v is using Nimh batteries with 400mah's. not sure how much run time you get with that setup.
It's also a bottom button PV

If it ain't a GG who cares!

Before making the plunge it's best to understand some real voltage specs.

If you are using real Joye 510's the 5V PT w/AC USB adapter (the highest I've seen are 2000ma) you may only be vaping at about 4.4V tops.

Most true 5V MOD vaping requires a quality 5V regulator (the TI series). That will give you a constant 5V vape start to finish.

When talking 6V again there is variance. A mod that uses 2 3V Tenergy LiPO's with a Joye atty will give you 5.18V vaping right off the charger, but it is dropping over time. Here's a test box (using an actual atty, not a dummy load). Do note though that any mods that use a resistor to achieve 5V do note provide a regulated constant experience (like your PT). They'll run high at first and lower as you vape.
