I've heard that you can use a little bit of everclear, however I wouldn;t use a few ml's. You juice would end up way too watery. Also, when I tried the Everclear it didn't really work all that well. While VG does produce more vapor, it gives you less throat hit. PG produces less vapor but gives you way more throat hit. I find that a good PG/VG mix at around 60/40 ratioa works the best for me.
To me: Throat Hit (TH) is Throat irritation (TI). It is caused by too much PG. I liked the Johnson Creek Tennessee Cured Original in 18mg. The Original is PG base. Although I love the flavoring I cut it with VG down to 15mg. TH & TI lessened, much better now. After polishing off the bottle, I ordered 2 bottles of JC's Tennessee Cured Red Oak which is VG based. Tastes a bit stronger in flavoring so I cut it down to 15mg with VG. Taste is now more to my liking. Probably better to cut it with a little PG being it is a VG base eJuice and only a little PG is added. You did mention what type of liquid your using, Pg, Vg, Mix??? I use a mix but anyhting that all vg normaly for doesnt have much of a throat hit no matter the nic level
One thing I have noticed with mixing is that the throat hit my juice delivers varies depending on the flavoring I use. Some flavorings just seem to pack more of a throat hit. I assume it's due to the alcohol ratio in the flavoring but I could be wrong.
Vape it like there's no tomorrow
TH is somewhat subjective. It affects some people differently from others and also depends on the type of analogs you used.
As for varying between juices your example seems a little extreme. Going from 6 to 24 should absolutely be more harsh. Some flavors will mute the TH. In other words some flavors from some vendors will cause the TH to be different with the same NIC mg. Could be you got very inconsistent batches of juice but vendor to vendor it could be a big difference.
