PureSmokers Ace (KR808D-1) questions

I have been through many forums and I can't seem to find enough info on the PureSmokers Ace (KR808D-1). I recently bought it (it's in the mail) based on the reviews of other KR808D-1's and the apparent love affair with cartomizers. Does anyone own this specific device?!?! If so, likes and dislikes? Have you purchased any auto's from somewhere else? Do the manuals that come with it have a weird noise? Any info will be greatly appreciated :-)

I think you are right :-). Mine just came in today, so I think I will give my first impressions, and such; for the next person that's like me and is trying to find out all they can about this device.

I have a KR808d-1, admittedly not from PureSmoker... I love it! I've gotten parts for it from several suppliers, and must recommend you check out Vapor4Life! Oh, and Premium cartomizers (several suppliers have these now), much better than the original! Better flavor, more consistent, and MUCH better VAPOR! Also the PCC is the B's & E's! Now why don't they make this style PCC for other models I wonder?

First impression: The device looks very nice. I was worried about the logo being on the battery and the atomz - thinking it would look to crowded - but it doesn't. In fact, the logos, especially the one on the battery, give it an elegant look. A rushed home on break to see if it arrived (and it did), so I quickly opened it, grabbed a few atomz, threw them into the standard carring case I got (which is really nice - a lot nicer than I thought it would be from only being 6 bucks), and rushed off the work.

I had a friend at work try it, and we vapped for a bit in the back (since work just stopped smoke breaks and she was nic-fitting), and I am still on the same atomz and battery I began with. I am not sure if they come fully charged or not (and this is the first time i didn't make sure a battery was fully charged before using it ):-)), but even if they did I am really impressed with the battery life. The same amount of vapping would of burned through 2 of my 510 batteries.

I used pre-filled atomz today. I did purchase a couple of blanks, and I am going to fill a few up tonight and see how they perform tomorrow. I have be highly anticipating the carto's and my initial feel is that they are okay. I haven't noticed only a minor drop in flavor with the pina-colada atomz so I am happy with that, but i tried two others (a riskee and a coffee) and they had a burnt flavor right off the bat, and it didn't seem to go away. I didn't try another atomz of those flavors to see if it was just those two or not, but two burnt tasting ones out of three is a little unsettling. I am hoping that my experience with filling my own will yield better and more consistent results.

I got this device to be a convenient and less-hassle device while I was at work or on the go, and on it's first day it lived up to that 100%. I will report back once I have some more time with this device. Above all, I am very happy with the Ace and would highly rate PureSmoker due to the high quality and low cost of their wares.
