Short of breath

I got my 510 kit yesterday, I used it last night and was short of breath and tried it again this morning and same thing. Question is what type of juice comes with the kits from Madvapes.. vg or pg? Anyone else had this problem? I am scared to use it again. Since the juice was 24 mg I bought vanulta 0 mg to mix with it since I am a Ultra light cig smoke. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hey wantovape, I have the same tight chest short of breath feeling also, this happens maybe a few times a week only though and usually when I am very tired and over vaped. . The 24mg is probably too much for an ultra light smoker, depending on how many packs you smoked per day. You could also just be allergic to PG which is rare but it happens. Try vaping the 0mg juice by itself and see if that has the same results, if it does, try vaping the opposite of what you are using. Since you do not know if the juice is PG or VG, I would just wait till you found out.

Shortness of breath is not a common occurrence associated with the e-cig and is more likely an allergic reaction or too high a dose of nicotine which causes heart palpitations and constricts blood vessels. I am not a doctor or anything close to it but I was a 27 year 3 pack a day smoker that tried everything in the book to quit and failed until I found the joye 510.

Hope you solve this mystery and don't get discouraged. People here are very helpful and experienced, ask questions, browse through posts and you will gain valuable information that can answer all if not most of your e-cig related questions.

I plan to contact madvapes and at least try to find out what is in the mixture ( there is nothing showing ingredients) I did find a post where a few people where having same symptoms.. but of course no conclusion. Makes since what you are saying. Too much nicotine.. They send the 24 mg with the kit but I am not real experienced on diluting to make it a weaker mg.

Please use the zero nic for now. I would hate to see someone get discouraged because of that and give up.

Im pretty sure most if not all of their juice got PG in it.
I never had any probs with their juice tho....
Id say try an all VG and lower Nic.
Dont think going to zero nic will help with getting the fix tho... Better getting there gradually...

Oh and yeah dont give up on vaping! There is a lot of trial & error at first

I found out the Top Vapor contains vg,pg, natural flavors and nicotine. This morning I used 5 drops of the vanulta and 2 drops of the marlboro 24. I don't seem to have the short of breath right now. but feel I do need the nicotine to be a little higher, (but I did leave room to adjust) I am beginning to think Keith was right in the nicotine was just to high Does anyone know the formula for diluting the nicotine

Well there is a few ways to go.. Either add more VG or PG (But that would lower both nic & flavor) or just add more flavoring

I know this thread is pretty dead but if anyonbe read's this. ONe i would like to know how this fella made out with the vg or pg or lower nic. I have the same problem I vape vg pg mix but 24-36 mg at a time i can't lower the dose or i would have it glued to my mouth. since I am a x addict I am aware i alway's chase high's and do the same with this but found bouncing back and forth between the 24 and 36 I don't crave as much. But I also used to sit and smoke one after another so I am also aware i would need a higher dose. but the shortness of breath is begining to be a real problem for me

All you do is add 0nic juice and a little simple math. 24mg 20mil add 20mil 0nic and out come will be 40mil of 12mg nic. you can do this and make it 18mg or 6mg.
