Tricks to filling a blank cartomizer?

Just cracked open a fresh new blank cartomizer, filled it with about 20 drops of 26mg liquid but I get hardly any vapor , flavor, or throat hit... Are there any tricks on getting a fresh cartomizer started?
The prefilled ones it came with worked great... Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Any help here?

LOL whenever anyone measures by the drops it puzzles me. I have juices that the drop can vary from bottle to bottle.

I was going to say sounds like overfill, but you would know that by juice in the mouth..juice dripping out the bottom...or no vapor. (if overfilled-just blow into the top to get out the excess liquid through bat end)

If all is good..I use what I read elsewhere...when filling will have the stick and condom in the battery end and then after filling and replacing caps..I place the condom on the top drop into a nice clean designated sock and whirl it overhead like a helicopter 10 to 20 times. Then open the top and reinspect..sometimes I will add another drop or two. Sometime more and then do the whirly thing again. All juices can vary Glycerine is thicker obviously but this method works well for me.

This is just parts of some things that I have read. When doing the drops -4 drops each in different spot on side 45 degree angle and repeat....do the whirly ..inspect..and repeat if necessary or add a couple drops.


I am new at this..so maybe more experience users will have better methods.

If you are breaking it in on a normal 808 battery then it will just take a while ... if you are breaking it in on a higher voltage device it should be vaping like a fiend within minutes, overfilled or not.

I second the centrifical force method of spinning it ... you can get WAY more juice in that way, but instead of using the silicone caps on the ends I just use the silicone plug that goes in the battery end of the cartomizer so I don't end up with a cap full of juice.

Least I said I was a novice at this stuff. I saw somewhere 1 ml is the max you should use. Any opinion on that one? TY AngelBunny

I really think it depends on the juice ... I use alot of the Nhaler juices and they are so thick I can't get a ton in there ... but on a blank carto with my juices from myfreedomsmokes I can get about 40 drops because their juices are so thin.

I have no idea how to convert drips to mL ... I use everything on 6v now though and a really full carto will last me at least an hour of chain vaping with any juice.
