DANGEROUS Faulty 5v 510 passthroughs (red LED model)

Has anyone else had problems with the new red LED ones? I bought all these from madvapes. I have had 3 freak out on me. 2 of them came on by themselves, stayed on, and melted my cartos to my desk when I wasn't around. The 3rd "pulsates" on-off-on-off, making my carto go sizzle-pause-sizzle-pause. The pulsation is in 2 second cycles. Nothing fixes them when these things happen. When the first incident happened I thought maybe I just had a lemon, but 3 in a row??????? Glad there wasn't a fire. The melting and pulsating incidents happened on the wall adapter. The other melting one happened while plugged in to a laptop. I have notified the owner of the situation.

If you have the red LED version UNPLUG THEM IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO BE AROUND!!!!!!

I'm not trying to slam Madvapes.com I'm actually a dedicated customer. VaporKings is just across town from me here in Tulsa but I continue to mail order from madvapes because of their fast shipping and superior customer service.

I've had the same thing happen, Mark sent me a new one last week and its already doing the same thing, Lost an atomizer with the second one going crazy!

I've opened another ticket for the last one I got, does anyone know if the "Blue LED" ones are doing the same.

I think its gotta be something with the switch.

MAdvapes is awesome though, this is the 1st time I've ever gotten ANYTHING from them that was bad

The only problems I have had with the blue ones is that they wear out really fast. I'm not sure if the switch goes out, wiring comes loose, or whatever. However, I have never had a blue one overheat or melt cartos.

Rick from Madvapes contacted me. Said the first batch didn't have the batteries sealed properly. Sending me out a couple from the newest batch with SEALED batteries.

Good to hear, I talso talked mark and he told me the same thing. I didnt get a new passthrough, instead I took a credit and got some of the LR attys, MArk also said he threw in an extra LR Atty and a couple of LR Cartos to tinker with,........These guys are awesome.

I have had the 5V 510 red led passthrough for about 2 weeks now and I use it every day. I leave it plugged in and I havent had any issues with it at all. Has worked perfectly.
