NYC Vapers Club meeting...

I happened to be on line for a while last night and the NYC Vapers Club were broacasting. Compared to the Long Island Vapers Club meeting from a couple of weeks ago, this 1 was a "snore fest." I think the reason why was that there were only about 10 members there. I wound up falling asleep at my computer, waking up to find they were already off the air after only about 1 hour. The Long Island Vapers Club was over 3 hours of broadcasting and I loved it till I turned it off while it was still going.

The reason my smoking was so cheap was that I was rolling my own analogs. In April of 2009, I was told by my tobacco supplier that the price was going to double due to taxes. I stocked up and bought $2,000 worth. Then I started vaping about 1/2 way through the stockpile and have sold the rest. I put that the packs were costing $3, but actually they were more like $1.50.

Carlo49 part 6...

I am the owner of tons of vape items worth tons of money (just to us vapors, to others it's a pile of expensive shit). I don't need another thing, mod, etc... so for me it is part of the overall life and when Carlos's item arrives, it will just be a happy day with the surprise from the mailman.

But for others in life, not the same. I have seen such mean and impatient behavior for meaningless nothings that I just want to say: Appreciate life and this vaping. I have feelings that with the FDA thing up in the air and the Federal Case pending, we don't know how this will all turn out... let's stay focused on that and if you are too crazy about any vape item that you cannot wait for it, ....... (fill that in yourselves). For me, I will eat the icing along with the cake. I will do my work now so that tommorrow morning, I will be ahead of the game!!!

Carlos49 part 5....

I read Scott Peck's book "The Road Less Traveled" and in there he talks about "delayed gratification." That you "should" do the "hard" stuff 1st and the "fun" stuff 2nd. That way, you will always look forward to the end rather than being let down by events and life. He gave the example of a patient of his Psychiatry who ate the icing on the cake 1st because she loved it and then was "stuck" with the cake. The person who at work does all of the fun stuff and then the stuff that had to get done that was left till the end of the day is just a pain in the ass!

Have I made my point? I am no saint and I know that you teach that which you need to learn, but...

Carlos49 part 4...

I just got an e-mail back from Carlos thanking me. If that were it, I would not really talk but he gave the impression that some (people) are not so patient as I am and that his only wish was to help the Vaping Community. I already knew his intentions as I have been a follower of Vapeology since July and a photo of him sticks in my mind with the testing of the original "Juice Box" which he says still has the same atty he made from 6 months ago!

So, I want to say that this is all about me and I am not talking out of school about the issue here which is patience. We all know the "patience is a virtue," line, but in real life it is hard.

Carlos49 part 3...

The type of guy I am is that I do not stand for thoughts on my mind that are possible to take care of and then do nothing about them. The Serenety Prayer is my way to understand what I can change (my thoughts) and what I cannot change (events and other peoples thoughts) and the power to know the difference, so....

Porphy today had a post with an update with Carlos's e-mail address and again, reminding people that there was a 4-5 week wait time, so... I e-mailed Carlos to tell him that as "long as I was alive, I did not care if it took 6 months" then thanked him for being a Modder. I also let him know about the Long Island thing and told him what I just told here.

Carlos49 part 2..

I was impressed with Spikey's handling of the meeting, short and to the point after lots of fun, but that is not my point here. I wanted to text Carlos how great it was that his Mod was getting air time and that they appeared to love it. The problem was that when Mr. Ghost, Mooby, had his "Vapeathon" ( looks like another for Jan of next year) I had registered for the service to join the fun and forgot my stuff. I was not able to log in. I kept writing, "Good job Carlos. Can't wait for mine now that I see it in full action with the group," but it fell on deff ears as I kept getting sent back for the login.
Finally, I went to a place on the site to ask them to e-mail me my name and password and they did, but now it was too late and Carlos was gone and his "Juice Box" was not being shown.

Carlos49 and the "Juice Box" part 1

I was watching DW from VF (all of the insider stuff!!!) at the Long Island Vaper's Club meeting last weekend and they were passing around the "Juice Box." Made me psyched as I ordered 1 a few weeks ago. Carlos was in the "Peanut Gallery" due to DW bringing his camera and we were able to text around the world while the meeting went on.

Activity Award at Nu-Vapor (was taken back) part 3...

If I have said it once I will say it 1,000 times. Vaping is my life. It at this time is the only main joy in life I get with my business being tied to the US economy in the housing market which is bleek. There is work but it is so sad for me to see how many are losing money on what was the #1 income maker for Americans, their own homes.

So, if by chance the higher powers that be ever do see that here on my own page that is given, I do the best that I can to keep a record, a blog of what is going on in real time with my life and specifically for the most part related to vaping.

So, even if I am a DF (dumb fatty) I did get a kick out of seeing there be a #1 for PM's. d.
