    Default From Cashmere at PureSmoker

    TYPES OF USER ERROR:
    1) Tightening the atomizer on to the adapter too tight.
    2) Pressing and holding the button down longer than recommended times.

If you are going to state that you can hold the button down too long and thus state that this is user error and will kill an atomizer, then you need to be SPECIFIC on what is the maximum amount of time you can press the button WITHOUT damaging the atomizer!!! And this needs to be specific to each type of atomizer. And why was this not provided with the documentation that came with the product so CUSTOMERS could avoid killing their atomizers?
    3) Overuse without letting it cool down.

What EXACTLY constitues overuse??? 5 minutes?, 10 minutes?, 1 minute? What is the "cool down" time frame?? 1 minute? 3 minutes?

    4) Overuse without keeping liquid pumping through the atomizer at all times.

There ... Hopefully Black and White enough for everyone to understand
All reviews, and comments that I make, and have made are my sole opinions.

Yeah, I gotta agree Smokie. Some nerve blaming a marginal product's performance(and all PS products except maybe the USBPass are marginal and overpriced) on possible "user error". Isn't that something that's supposed to be hammered out in the pre-marketing testing phase????
And this drama currently going on with the protege switches failing. What is that??? Again, please figure these issues out prior to making people wait months on a pre-order list(after paying full price), then having to send the item back after having the pleasure of 2 days of use, for another 2 week wait for a switch fix.
I don't care how "great" your "Customer service ticket system" is. If that the selling point of your company, that you respond courteously to numerous product failures, you don't have a selling point, nor should you be selling products to the general public.
And this is coming from a person who owns 2 of their products.(already having intermitent switch problems on both , after 2 months.)

I bought a Protege, and and Protegy passthrough. The Protege burnt a hole in my purse, and caused an uproar in my office, due to the smoke. The passthrough's button stopped working within days of receiving it. The people at puresmoker were polite, though, letting me know this was due to user error, and they would fix it if I returned the items.

f I had not found that smoking Protege when I did, a fire could have started and there could have been some real damage.

The same thing happened to my sister with her protege. It burned her desk and then her hand when she picked it up. I mailed it in to puresmoker and they sent it back with a new switch in it and a note that said my sister was tightening the atty too much. She was afraid to use it again so I sold it for her. I sold mine before anything went wrong with it.
I also have a Prodigy V1 and I still use it occasionally, it was my first mod. After 2 months the switch went bad and I had to mail it back to them. When I got it back it worked for one hour! Once again I had to mail it back. This time it came back with a NEW switch in it that worked for 3 days before it shorted out and got piping hot. Ruined my batteries, melted the outer plastic on them.
After that I emailed them and told them what happened and basically said I was through with it and I was not mailing it back yet AGAIN, I would just consider it a total loss. 3 days later I got an envelope from them with another new switch in it. This one is still working but I don't use it much and will not buy another product from them.

Mss Casey...This it's Big Question to You...Why You and Cashmere try to sell FOULTY ...The Prodigy V2...????and don't have any responsibility to take back the FAULTS V2 to repaire???I send 5 email in last 3 days...NO ANSWERS...NOTHING...I see what Bussines U RUN...Get Big $$$$ and Run Away...the upgrade swith is BS...still has some faults...95% is faulty swith...I will say as buyer...STOP BS PEOPLE...about this Vaping Festival...becouse this should be u last FESTIVAL...I'm sorry to hear about the trouble. The switch you have was already upgraded. Please view the troubleshooting thread at pure-smokers.com, and keep in mind that the button does need to be depressed fairly hard for the first 2-3 days while the button breaks in.
...U replay only twice...The Prodigy V2 does not come with the stainless switch. It comes with the upgraded black plastic switch. The V2.1 switch is available as an extra upgrade if you want to purchase it separately. The new Prodigy V2.1 (which is not available for sale yet) will come standard with the stainless switch.
and You Casy...or Cashmere...140 pound man? running bussines...which put us in trouble with this GARBAGE V2....

Im wondering if I should Pay on THE FIRST PLACE....I will POST the same THREAD in other Forums as well...so another People don't get on trouble like I did just did...SHAME ON YOU Pure-SMOKERS... !!!!!!!!!!

Purchased the V2 about 8 weeks ago. I had so much trouble pressing the button to activate the atty that I now have calluses on both thumbs. Eventually the button just gave out. Puresmoker sent me out some parts to replace myself, but with no instructions on how to do this! Well I have had a stab at it and fingers crossed for the last week it has been working great. When it works its vapes like a champ for sure, and I love the size and look of it. My biggest complaint is that Puresmoker knew that the buttons were defective and still sent out the V2 with those buttons, and presumably a short prayer that they would suddenly work fine. They should have replaced the buttons prior to posting ie the V2.1. And for the 140 bucks I spent on the unit and a extra fitting head for the cartomizer atties Would it have been so bad to include the stainless button? Shame on you Puresmoker.
